Priest Message

Standing amazed in the marvelous presence and providence of God, the Psalmist exhorts thus, “What shall I return to the Lord for all His goodness to me? I will lift up the cup of my salvation, and call on the name of the Lord”. Commenced in the Jewish Passover meal, completed in Jesus’ Paschal meal, continued in the present Eucharistic meal, we are celebrating the same as the Psalmist proclaims. The celebration and enactment of this memorial sacrifice is the core of an ecclesial community, the parish. The church remembers for herself, and reminds the public, that we are all saved through the precious blood of Jesus, and hence everyone must acknowledge and accept this truth by participating in the paschal mysteries, perfectly and effectively present in the Holy Mass. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, let us not forget what our Lord has commanded us to fulfill, ‘Do this in memory of me’. Let us eat from the same bread and flesh, that we may not be divided, Let us drink from the same cup of blood, that we may not be defeated. It is the Eucharist that builds up the Church and family. Kindly start singing joyfully: ‘Let us be reconciled, and prepare a new altar. with the love of the Lord Jesus, Let us offer this Qurbana’. Lord God, we praise You for this ineffable gift
